I love this technique of doing more spontaneous sketches!  I put the water color on the page and then used a pencil to sketch the figure

So excited these ladies are finished!  Now I want them to jump off the page outfits sewn and finished!

My drawing area sometimes gets crazy when I work on a project... but seriously, this is how I like to work!!

Starting from scratch with these croquis sketches. Working with legs and arm positions to give sassy attitude. WHAT?!?!?!?! Fashion Week starts this week and I can't wait to see what craziness will be on the runway.

Art is everywhere

 

I bought a book to read and when I ended up hating it, I started sketching in it instead. ha! It turned out to be a fun project.  So now there are random pieces of art in a not so predictable looking sketchbook.
